WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2015 as a school volunteers project, One Clean Meter now is a non-profit company based in Spain, Valencia.
We passionately act in fighting plastic pollution of the Mediterranean Sea, focusing on beach cleans and encouraging local and global communities on uniting together and keeping our beaches clean

We do masterclasses on reducing plastic waste, Social network campaigns and spreading the word via mass media, Radio, TV, etc:

2015 - Present:
Globally appreciated campaign #onecleanmeter encourages volunteers to make the first step in reducing plastic pollution by sharing online just one square meter of the seaside or other territory, cleaned up from plastic. The more the better!

OUR MOBILE APP
One Clean Meter presents you with a mobile phone app, where we are inviting you to help us clean-up the beaches in your local area, just from a few clicks on your smartphone.
One Clean Meter app is an interactive tool to unite beach clean activists together but also allowing us to help the environment at our own pace.
The app will allow you to tag plastic rubbish, find tags that are already present, be updated around the beach clean news in your area and many more
2021 - One Clean Meter effectively uses the pandemic pause for developing a new project:
Mobile application devoted to helping each member of the local community to make an input into plastic waste reduction.
An interactive and user-generated map of the plastic waste in the Valencian area will unite and inspire eco-activists, along with everyone else
